About Saginaw Valley State University

At SVSU, you can choose from over 90 programs of study that lead to one of ten baccalaureate degrees, or one of 15 graduate programs (14 master's degree and one doctoral program). Through the College of Science, Engineering & Technology, students can earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with major offerings in Optical Physics, Physics, and Physics for Teacher Certification.  

A physics major is excellent preparation for careers at non-profit research centers, industry, federal agencies (such as NASA, Department of Energy, Department of Defense), and schools and universities.
