• Job Description: Job Description: Works from job schedule, assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and verbal instructions to complete standard and custom mirrors, optics, micro source modules, and full analytical systems. Responsibilities:
  - Perform all activities related to producing RIT Product including o SAXS systems, optic assemblies, standard and custom optical hardware, and micro source modules per production schedule o Operating, unloading & reloading vacuum deposition equipment - Assist with service and repairs, as required -
  Maintain safety and cleanliness in all manufacturing assembly areas
  - Follow all RIT procedures
  - Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Department Manager Education:
  High school education or equivalent Key Knowledge/Experience: -
  Direct experience in manufacturing/assembly technology
  - Good electrical/mechanical abilities with attention to details Key Traits:
  - Good organizational and communications skills, both verbal and written
  - Conscientious team player
  - Ability to work in a self-directed manner, within defined scope
  - Strong problem-solving skills
  - Ability to work productively with Windows based systems, including MS Office - Desirable Experience/Knowledge:
  - Basic understanding of vacuum processes
  - Basic understanding of electrical assembly, including soldering
  - Ability to perform fine detail assembly under a microscope
  - Ability to understand engineering documentation and work closely with engineering and other manufacturing areas Direct Reports: N/A
